The Evidence-Based Practice ONE DAY workshop will combine theory and hands-on training in scientific evaluation methods to provide participants with the skills and knowledge to implement evidence-based policy and practice.
Participants will learn the rationale and mechanics of conducting experimental and quasi-experimental evaluations, enabling those in leadership roles to appreciate, develop and demand evidence-based best practice. Participants will workshop evaluation design, case flow management, randomisation procedures, and monitoring techniques. Participants will learn how to best select evaluation initiatives, consider operational alternatives and troubleshoot legal or ethical issues.
