Congratulations to Life Course Centre researchers at The University of Queensland School of Social Science who have been successful in securing new funding grants from government, community and industry organisations.

Recent grant winners include:

• Research Fellow Liz Eggins and Chief Investigator Professor Lorraine Mazerolle who were awarded funding from the Queensland Department of Child Safety, Youth and Women for their project ‘Rapid Evidence Reviews’ which will provide a rapid review of the evidence literature for specific child safety interventions.

• Associate Investigator Associate Professor Cameron Parsell, Research Fellows Dr Andrew Clarke and Associate Professor Francisco Perales and Research Affiliate Associate Professor Richard Robinson who were awarded funding from the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland for their project ‘St Vincent de Paul Queensland: Systematic Empirical Investigation, 2020 – 2023’.

• Research Fellow Dr Renee Zahnow and colleagues Mandy Turner and Dr Jonah Rimer who were awarded funding from The Australian and New Zealand Society of Criminology (ANZSOC) to host a public-facing cyber event, scheduled to place during Social Sciences Week in September, on the human and social side of cyber safety.
