Life Course Centre Director Professor Janeen Baxter has been appointed to the Committee for Economic Development of Australia (CEDA) Council on Economic Policy.

The 20-member CEDA Council on Economic Policy comprises some of Australia’s best and brightest policy minds and helps to guide CEDA’s research agenda. In 2020, CEDA is celebrating its 60th anniversary and its research agenda will include: unlocking data in the public interest, releasing the second Community Pulse nationwide survey, discussing the skills mismatch in the permanent migration system, and releasing its second report in a series on innovative new approaches to breaking the cycle of entrenched disadvantage.

The CEDA Council on Economic Policy will hold its first meeting for 2020 in Melbourne in March.
