The Life Course Centre undertakes a range of innovative, community-focussed projects to deliver practical real-world outcomes for Australia’s most vulnerable people. These include small-scale projects and proof-of-concept programs up to large-scale, multi-faceted population trials. By engaging with communities, collaborating with partners and using various research methodologies we can evaluate the effectiveness of targeted social interventions. This provides crucial evidence on what works, what doesn’t, and how to best make a difference to those living in, and most at risk of, entrenched disadvantage.
