Dr Stephanie Cardwell receives Outstanding Student Contribution Award

We can proudly announce that Life Course Centre post-doctoral Research Fellow Dr Stephanie Cardwell will receive a Division of Developmental and Life-Course Criminology, Outstanding Student Contribution Award for her paper ‘Variability in Moral Disengagement and its Relation to Offending in a Sample of Serious Youthful Offenders’, Criminal Justice and Behavior, 42(8), pp. 819-839.

Dr Cardwell received a BS in Psychology (2011) and a MS in Criminal Justice (2013) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a PhD in Criminology (2017) from the University of Texas at Dallas. Her research predominantly involves testing developmental life-course criminology perspectives using both quantitative and qualitative methods.

Her award will be presented by DLC Chair Friedrich Losel at the DLC members meeting at the ASC on Thursday November 16.
